We asked the same five people we
addressed in our initial music video to watch our final video and look at our
print work and this was the feedback which they gave us. We, again, used
facebook messenger to send and receive our responses.
This question was repeated from the
first questionnaire, just so that we could check the value and relevance of
each response with comparison to audience preference.
What genre of music most appeals
to you?

What are three words that
immediately come into your head after watching the video?
Lawrence Evans
Funny, ghetto, real
Felix Page
Different, retro, happy
Vince Firth
Fast, funny, british
Keir Burbidge
Rap, money, street
Nat McKerlie
Fun, happy, relatable
Is
the story and what is happening easy to understand?
Lawrence Evans
He has been through a break up,
was all the stuff about him shopping, like him trying to get over the girl?
(yes) oh well then yes I do understand
Felix Page
I dont know how much I would have
understood if the music wasnt there, the subject of the song definitely helps
me in understanding that hes trying to get over his old girlfriend.
Vince Firth
I think so, I didnt really get the
end bit where he was playing basketball, but I got that he went through a
break up.
Keir Burbidge
Yeah it was very clear, especially
with the song in the background as the story was similar to what was being
sung about.
Nat McKerlie
Yeah I did, he's been through a
break up and was rapping to try and get over her.
Is the artists performance
convincing to you, and why?
Lawrence Evans
He had a certain 'rap' look about
him I suppose, it was a good choice of actor, he looks like Mikill Pane
aswell.
Felix Page
As an artist I thought the acting
was convincing, he had a lot of charisma however some parts seemed slightly
out of sync or he didn’t quite know the words, I couldn’t tell which.
Vince Firth
Since I know the actor it was a
bit odd for me seeing him star in a music video but he was actually a very
good actor so I'd say yes.
Keir Burbidge
I think he was convinging enough
but could have been better, in some of the shots he looked quite bored.
Nat McKerlie
Yeah, im a big fan of Mikill Pane
and the actor did the job really well, all the references to trainers and
humour are just like something he would actually do.
Could you watch the video again
without getting bored?
Lawrence Evans
I think I could, its definetly
more exciting than some of the other a level videos ive watched, theyre all a
bit to artsy and slow for me, this is a nice change
Felix Page
I don’t know, I found myself
getting slightly bored during the parts between the singing, but I could
watch the singing parts again definetly!
Vince Firth
I only started noticing the stuff
like when he was in the bed, and the bottle of vanish halfway through. Ive
already watched it twice because I missed all those funny bits the first time
round, like the bit outside tescos was about tescos.
Keir Burbidge
I probably could, I did think the
bit without john in were qite long and boring, didn’t really seem like a
Mikill Pane song after a while
Nat McKerlie
Yeah I could, the camera is always
moving so it feels like something is always going on which doesn’t make it
boring and kind of makes me want to watch it again.
