Group : Progress update

During todays lesson we began editing some footage we filmed of our artist for our production. These were some practise shots to test out some angles and framing techniques we are going to use for our production, in order to ensure that they work effectively. After filming these we noticed the fact that John wasn't looking directly at the camera for the majority of the time, but he looked at the floor, so we will take that into consideration when we film for our actual music video. The shots were taken against a green screen, and after testing this we believe it looks very effective altering the colour of the background for our production. Overall, it has helped us in terms of our preparation for filming the actual music video and gave us some good ideas, as well as some problems we can address next time we film.
Furthermore, we have also began to work on our final storyboard which we will use when filming our music production.
Lastly, we have almost finished the animatic for our production, there are just a few more frames which we need to incorporate into our production, as well as uploading the complete animatic onto YouTube before posting it onto our blog.

We have thought of a good idea for our music video in terms of the ending. As the music video finishes with the artist in the studio, we are going to finish it by using an over the shoulder shot of someone holding a piece of green coloured paper, which is going to act as a green screen, and then we are going to set it alight, however incorporating in the picture of the artist in the studio.
