Today I have altered the
text for our
print work in order to help in to conform to other music adverts. I have done this by using creating a
hierarchy in terms of the size of the texts being used which is evident in many other adverts. For example the name of the artist is always the largest
font, where as aspects such as the title of the song and release date are to be kept smaller in order to
conform to the
conventions of other adverts. This helps to reinforce the importance of each piece of text being used on the advert.
Furthermore, I have also
edited the text by incorporating a
shadow effect underneath in order to make the aesthetic of the ad. Below is the method I have used in order to do this, as well as considering the
rule of thirds instead of keeping the text and
logo all central to the layout.
