In terms of our stop motion, after watching this music video by One Republic- Good life we are considering using aspects of their production to apply within ours. We like the stop motion ideas, of which they use by a person holding up a picture which contains an animated image. We therefore want to try and adopt this approach within our production. Currently we are considering using this type of effect by having the girl from our production holding up a animated picture of our artist singing. Furthermore, we also like the idea of holding several animated pictures together in order to form a single image as seen in the picture below.
We have found out how to apply this effect to our production, which you do by drawing four dots in each corner of a piece of paper. Therefore you can then insert an image on after effects to fill the gap. Also a good thing using this idea, is that if you tilt the image sideways you can also adjust the colour to show a shadow effect when it turns away from the camera, so therefore it is an idea we could apply fairly easily to our production. Next lesson we are going to practise using this technique in order to test it and see whether it would work well within our production.
