AH : Shoot Feedback

Our first shoot for our music video took place on 28th of October, in several locations: Southborough council estate, Tesco and Royal Victoria place. The filming consisted only of our artist (John Jones) within the filming, as well as Adam Howland, Alex Wallace and Sam Hawkins, for a duration of roughly 3 hours.

Overall, we feel our first shoot went significantly well, due to the fact that we had a good day in terms of the weather for filming so the shots came out very clearly, as well as the pictures for our stop motion. We believe the shots we took were fairly successful on the whole and for some shots we took several retakes in order to ensure that we wont have to film it again.
We used our story board effectively as well as taking into consideration some of the earlier practise shots we filmed within our pitch, which we believe were also effective. As well as following aspects on the storyboard, we also come up with some new ideas over our own, such as the use of a tracking shot out a car window.

When shooting next time however, we do need to ensure that lighting is of a similar level, as for some of the still shots we took it varies to it could pose a problem when it comes to editing in order to adjust them to a similar image. For example this is evident in some of still images here of our artist where the contrast of the image alters between several of them.
