AH : Album cover analysis
Conclusion
In conclusion to this music album cover, I believe the colour scheme is an effective way in making the cover stand out to a audience. The use of positioning in terms of the text is an aspect that is considered well, positioning text in appropriate places in order to make them visually stand out better, as well as the use of font, also for regonition. The presence of the star image in this case can be considered fairly complicated, due to the fact that the artists are present, however we are presented with just close ups and mid shots of them, where there faces are ultimately obscured by a black and white shadow effect created in post production. Therefore I like the aspect about not being fully aware of the star image.

This album does have a very striking colour scheme with the pink on top of the black, I like it, especially the paint effect that you mentioned which does give the very clear connotation of spray paint. We should look to also create a very strong connotation when we design our album artwork.
